The green space surrounding the monument is perfect for a picnic or just a place to relax while watching the kids have fun. Plus, it’s centrally located, making it an easy stop while exploring the town.
Lungolario Luigi Cadorna
Another great location is the Lungolario Luigi Cadorna, a scenic lakeside promenade that offers a spacious area for kids to run around and play. There are also benches for parents to sit and enjoy the views of the lake while keeping an eye on the children. Best of all, there’s plenty of free parking in this area, so it's easy to park and explore without the hassle of searching for a spot.

If you're seeking a must-see spot in Lecco, this is it! Whether you’re visiting in spring, summer, or autumn, Piazza Antonio Stopani offers incredible scenery. However, it’s especially stunning in the summer, when the flower beddings are in full bloom, adding a vibrant splash of color to the surroundings. Getting to Lecco from Milan and Bergamo
​Getting to Lecco is relatively easy, with several transportation options available depending on where you're coming from.

By Train
The most common way to reach Lecco is by train. From Milan, you can take a direct train to Lecco, which takes about 40 min. The train station in Lecco is well-connected to the surrounding area, including easy access to nearby towns and attractions. However, if you're coming from Bergamo, there are no direct trains. The train ride will take about 1.5 hours with one transfer. Once you're in Lecco, it's easy to explore the town on foot.

By Car
If you prefer more flexibility, renting a car is another great option. The drive from Milan or Bergamo to Lecco takes approximately 1 hour. Having a car gives you the freedom to explore the surrounding areas at your own pace, but be aware that parking in Lecco can be limited in certain areas, especially during busy periods.
